What You’ll Be Doing
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Amazon Account Manager to oversee and grow our brand’s presence on Amazon. This role will focus on strategic planning, content optimization, and improving ratings and reviews while closely managing our agency partner to ensure brand protection and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to navigate the complexities of the Amazon ecosystem and collaborate effectively with agencies and internal teams to deliver results.
This is a full-time role with a hybrid work schedule based in West LA and will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Agency Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the agency managing our Amazon account. Provide clear direction, set performance goals, and ensure alignment with brand strategy and priorities.
- P&L Management: Oversee the profit and loss statement for Amazon and social commerce marketplaces, ensuring revenue and margin targets are met.
- Performance Optimization: Track key performance metrics, including sales growth, ratings, ad ROI, and content effectiveness. Analyze sales and operational data provided by the agency to identify growth opportunities, diagnose challenges, and inform decision-making. Optimize product listings (SEO, content, imagery) to improve discoverability and conversion rates. Hold the agency accountable for meeting goals and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Inventory & Sales Management: Manage inventory forecasting, planning, and replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.Collaborate with the operations, demand planning, and supply chain team to ensure timely product availability.Implement strategies to optimize inventory turns and reduce excess stock.
- Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with the agency to develop and execute annual and quarterly Amazon strategies, including promotional planning, advertising campaigns, and content updates.
- Content Supervision: Work with the agency to ensure product listings (titles, images, descriptions, and A+ content) are optimized for discoverability, conversion, and brand consistency. Approve updates and review performance impact
- Ratings and Reviews: Partner with the agency to implement strategies for improving customer ratings and reviews, ensuring customer feedback is addressed in a timely and constructive manner.
- Brand Protection: Collaborate with the agency to monitor unauthorized sellers, counterfeit products, and pricing violations, ensuring brand integrity on the platform.
- Advertising Campaigns: Oversee the management of Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Ads. Review performance reports and recommend adjustments to maximize ROI
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align Amazon strategies with broader company objectives and ensure inventory readiness for key campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce, brand, or product marketing, with a focus on Amazon account management.
- Proven success managing Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central accounts, including strategic planning and content optimization.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights to optimize performance
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with agencies and internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to scale brands and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for exploring innovative strategies to grow on Amazon

In this role you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers to develop loyalty and increase sales. You will be finding ways to improve the experience of and better serve our customers and manage customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data insights to create exceptional marketing campaigns. You will lead all email, sms, direct mail and loyalty program creation.
Key Responsibilities
Email and SMS Strategy & Management:
- Build monthly product stories and develop a calendar aligning with the global marketing calendar.
- Create, schedule and deploy all email and SMS campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content that aligns with the brand’s voice and values.
- Develop and maintain segmentation strategy to support targeted marketing efforts.
- Manage list health. Align with team on monthly goals
- Prepare weekly/monthly and quarterly hindsight. Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to track repeat purchase rate.
- Grow and build email and sms lists.
- A/B testing content, stories and templates.
- Manage vendors.
- Own and manage platforms including: Klaviyo and Attentive.
- Maintain email flows and optimize them as needed.
- Help scale our SMS list.
- Work closely with eCommerce, product, and customer service teams to ensure campaigns support business objectives and reflect customer feedback.
- Liaise with external vendors and platforms, such as Klaviyo, Attentive, or other CRM tools, to enhance campaign performance.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and introduce automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Customer Journey Enhancement:
- Support the creation and management of lifecycle marketing strategies, including welcome series, win-back, and loyalty campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior and recommend strategies to enhance retention and lifetime value.
- Process Development & Documentation: Collaborate with the Director of Ecomm to refine and document CRM processes, ensuring clarity and scalability.
Campaign Personalization:
- Utilize advanced segmentation strategies to deliver hyper-targeted campaigns tailored to diverse customer profiles.
- Work with the team to identify high-impact opportunities for personalization, ensuring communications align with customer preferences and behaviors.
Cross-Department Coordination for Timelines:
- Partner with product, creative, and eCommerce teams to establish clear timelines and accountability for campaign assets, ensuring on-time execution during high-demand periods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in CRM, email, or digital marketing, preferably in the beauty or eCommerce industry.
- Proficiency with CRM and email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Shopify is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML for email customization is a bonus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proven ability to navigate fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong Communication Skills:
- Adept at providing feedback to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, clearly articulating opportunities and roadblocks in CRM campaigns.
